I sold my hat at an auction

The trucker's cap in the photo --
the hat from Small Point. I sold
it at a Descant auction. I've
heard that a lot of people tried it on
and it raised forty dollars. So who has
the hat now? Anyone out there know?
Next year I will get a hat from Jerry's
Nose, or Dildo.

It is a wonderful trick, to get a hat from a nose or a dildo. (Sorry I could not resist.) What will your replacement hat be, I wonder?

Your hat now belongs to a bagpiping man of epic personality.

i picked up the cup of tea from my desk and walked over to the window. there was a man outside my house, wearing a fake-coloured coat with a shovel in his hand. must be an outside client, i thought, as i watched him reach into his pocked and take out a bastard file. i returned to my desk feeling slightly disoriented.

What the heck is a fake coloured coat? How am I supposed to visualize a fake coloured coat?

Anonymous might have meant "false-coloured" coat, as in the false
colours used in computer screens
for carry-on baggage at airport x-ray departures (I'm sure we all
knew that...). However, fake-
coloured is not a bad image. I
can see it. It looks like
an unnatural animal fur, some hue
not truly seen in the wild. Oh if
only all the Anonymi would adopt fake-coloured names so we could differentiate between them!

I will accept fake coloured fur coat but not fake coloured coat. A coat has the right to be any colour it pleases, without being called fake. A pink coat is not a fake, but I will accept that a pink fur coat is.
